As program officer, Camielle Taylor helps lead grantmaking for Polk Bros. Foundation’s Fostering Participatory, Multiracial Democracy goal and serves as the Foundation’s point person on grantmaking to the arts community. She joined the Foundation in 2025 and draws on her experience advancing educational opportunity, youth leadership and community engagement to inform the Foundation’s grantmaking and partnerships that expand opportunity and strengthen communities across Chicago. Before joining Polk Bros. Foundation, Camielle served as managing director of programs at LINK Unlimited Scholars, where she led leadership development and college readiness initiatives designed to help students thrive. Earlier in her career, she held teaching, college counseling and school leadership roles at Butler College Prep, served as an instructional coach with Teach For America Philadelphia Summer Institute and worked as an educational consultant. Across her career in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Chicago, Camielle has focused on expanding educational opportunity and preparing young people to lead in their communities. Camielle is an alumna of Surge Institute Chicago and Teach For America Baltimore and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
