Polk Bros. Foundation is a private, independent foundation working to make Chicago a place where all people have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our work is grounded in three interconnected goals: Closing the Life Expectancy Gap, Building Community Wealth Across Generations, and Fostering Participatory, Multiracial Democracy.

Benefits and Compensation
Our compensation and benefits package includes the offerings below, which we regularly benchmark with an external consultant to help ensure they remain competitive.
Hybrid Schedule
We work in a hybrid model, currently requiring two in-office days (Wednesdays and Thursdays) plus occasional other in-office days as job responsibilities require, and remote work on other days. Any changes to this approach would be made with intention and communicated well in advance.
