As senior program officer, Divya Mohan Little helps lead Polk Bros. Foundation’s grantmaking for the Closing the Life Expectancy Gap goal. She joined the Foundation in 2018 and draws on her experience in public health, public policy and cross-sector collaboration to inform the Foundation’s grantmaking and partnerships focused on improving health outcomes across Chicago. Before joining Polk Bros. Foundation, Divya served at the Illinois Department of Public Health, EverThrive Illinois, and the School-Based Health Alliance, advancing maternal and child health, health equity and community-centered approaches to improving health outcomes. She serves on the board of Center for Housing and Health and is committed to advancing equitable, evidence-informed solutions that help communities thrive.
